We need something...anything to spark spirit!

I love the tortilla toss.

I would much prefer some effort and execution from our football team. Also, the tortilla thing always seemed like a dumb bit. I could be wrong, but I think that was a Texas Tech thing. Not to mention all of the hungry people in 3rd world countries. Wasting food seems a little irresponsible.

Just saying we were winning until the pirate child was shown on the jumbo tron, and they started taking away our tortillas.

Are tortillas food? I thought they were biodegradable Frisbees.

If you sneak in a bag of 25 tortillas, you will have 23 unused ones at the end of the game. We could set up a collection point and donate the massive mounds of unthrown tortillas to Denton Food Center. Think of the children.

My first wife was half Mexican, so I'm 1/4 ex-Mexican and can therefore speak on the behalf of my 1/4 ex-Mexican heritage when I say that green tortillas should most certainly be returned.

Hide them in your pants and sit behind the opposing team. If you get a lucky toss in, their players get an ASS TACO IN THE FACE!

Funny King DL would mention this topic. My wife brought up the fact (?) that we started our downhill slide when the tortillas were banned from the stadium. She thought they were funny.

As for copying Texas Tech, that's what makes it a funny bit. Remember, we got tortillas thrown at us all through that game. Ended up winning, and threw them back at the Tech fans. Ahhh. Memories.

---Tortillas --- Not any more... If Tech security gets any tighter.... everyone with have to show-up in swimming-suits and flip-flops to get in.

Considering all the waste that exists, complaining about throwing a few tortillas is a bit extreme. Your big-citiness is showing. Guess we should stop tossing bread to the birds too or even wasting bird-seed... we should make flour of it and sent to where-ever. The world has a lot of more important problems besides wasting a few tortillas.... many of which birds wind up with anyway. Eating less and weighing less would be a lot more conservative and useful.. and sending what isn't prepared to somemone that needs it.... instead America pigs out at all you can eat places and is getting fatter every day. Looking at my old school pictures (from the 50, 60's)... kids that we thought were fat ---look pretty normal now...

I had a whole group that loved to toss them, maybe I will sneak a few in and see if we win!
