"Students for a New Stadium" will be purchasing campaign signs for this referendum.

Donations can be made via PayPal to the following address: dmm0218@unt.edu

Once we hit $1000, we will close the fundraising campaign. Any donations after the $1000 ceiling is reached will be refunded.

----------------------------------

Our funds will be used to purchase 475 campaign signs and wire stands in White and Kelly Green that say:

"Vote 'YES' on the Athletic Fee"

"For the Future of UNT"

(Paid for by "Students For a New Stadium")

OK, so I went to the election board and found out that we are very limited in real estate to post signs. So rather than waste money, I've decided to buy just 100 signs. I could have gone with even less, but 100 seemed to be the best deal as purchasing only 50 signs would have ended up saving us only about $30. We won't use them all, but we will have some to give away to Fry Street businesses and (God forbid) a spring campaign.

The rest of the money will be used for an NT Daily ad.

We will also spend $10/day to advertise on Facebook between now and the end of the election (10 days = $100)

I registered today with the SGA Election Board. I am required to show all expenditures to them before the referendum is certified.

Thanks to everyone for your help so far.

Thanks for your efforts; I just added a donation, and expect another member to contribute soon too. Keep up the good fight!

I appreciate what you're doing as well, UntFlyer.

Do you know the names and organizations of the homecoming candidates, and where they stand on the stadium? It seems to me that they are all likely to support the new stadium, and if they get out the vote, they'll bring a lot more yes votes than no votes.

When I was a student, the black Greek groups took homecoming very seriously and I think they won all three years I was in Denton.

Excellent idea since the voting that week will also be for homecoming K&Q. A positive staduim mention from some of the candidates could help greatly.
