It’s chaos right now, and if you are not picking up on the not-so-subtle clues as everyone looks to out code reference each other, it’s going to get worse before it gets better. So let’s fire up the black water bong of truth and just talk about what’s really significant, man… because hey, we can’t control what the board do. It’s crazy man.

-First of all, I am sad this week. Usually when I check the board Sunday night or Monday morning, there are about 7 pages of new material to filter. There were four this time, and most of you had the same things to say. Still, where this anger and pain, there is idiot and some real GMG.com gold

-At least the tailgating was awesome. I can’t saw enough good things about Oldguystudent and his magical banana (bread,) it’s only 15% as shiny in person. And if you read the post about the sunglasses, seriously, I have them and don’t want to be a thief. I tripped on them while running a pass pattern on the field in the glow of mystical fireworks. (I for one don’t mind the fireworks. The Rangers do them every Saturday home game win or lose and no one has a fit.)

-Tune is looking good late in games and people are getting pretty high on him. Some say we should pass because of the situations he is entering games, but I say we hold on to that puppy and savor what we’ve got.

-The posters who use reasoning and words are beginning to question leadership. Sure, that is all and good, but who has solutions? I’ll tell you who – Green Grenade II! His plan is so crazy it just might work.

-UNT Police -1; Dickey – 0. Thank God these days are over (I'm being serious. I hope.)

-Cerebus captures the failed crowd noise (we were on high on disbelief!) during the game. As a person who ran to his car and drank four beers at halftime, I will say that the loudest thing heard at the beginning of the quarter was a car alarm. Have you ever wondered what failed smile sounds like? Well, wonder no more.

-Sadly, not even ten Johnny Quinns could have make me hard during this game.

-Well look at that! Utah State kept the mighty top 10 BYU Cougars under 35. Must be all that running and “playing to loose.” Still, people are beginning to doubt the legitimacy of the score since this was Dickey’s offense, meaning that you can infer that all of the players were hyped up on angel dust and other good stuff, making the score about as legit as a Tour de France result.

-It took hard work, dedication, and a strong dedication to the ghost of Ron Mendoza, but we did it, F’ers!

-You people realize we gained 428 yards of offense right? For reference, we only had 331 in this lame game playing unexciting conservative loser ball.

-Chrisfisher knows losing – and how to relax before basketball season starts!

-Finally, Side Show Joe has a great reminder to not give up on the program. It’s probably worth framing this one as the season continues.

I don’t know what to predict for this week. People definitely had fights last week (even if the ladies severely let me down), but I don’t want to encourage fighting. This program has been around since 1913 without having its fair share of good times – to say the least – yet we are all still here. We've sucked before and we'll suck again (giggle.) We've had 16 coaches – including J.W.’s – and is like a cockroach because it can survive any level of radiation or atomic level blow up. So I turn to the only thing that gives me comfort in troubled times – absurd pictures of Ralph Wiggum (Simpsons -1; religion – 0.) See you in hell!

Might want to pin that thread at the top, as many will need a reminder as the week goes along.

It just so happens that I caught it on video.

That right there is worth the price of orange lot admission.

Quoner -- Thanks for the info, I PMed you about the sunglasses. Missed the original post so mentioning it here was the best thing I could have hoped for.

It's confirmed... the missing sunglasses were mine, and I can't wait to be reunited with them.

It is definitely a GMG.com miracle. I don't care what anyone says about you Quoner... you're OK with me.

Thanks!

UPDATE: How's that for my 500th post!

Actually, they're mine. See, my mother-in-law came out Thursday and was going to bring them to me, but there was a loss in cabin pressure as they were flying over Denton County...needless to say, some stuff just flew right out. They must have gone unnoticed until game day. If you want them, you can trade me a Todd Dodge autographed photo for them. Just make sure it's sexy.
