Playing is a committment, being a fan is a committment, just different types. I support the Mean Green as a program. The individual pieces will always change, the sum is greater than the total of those individuals. Players, coaches, adminsitrators all come and go, but it is the program that deserves the support. If players want to leave for whatever reason, let'em go, there will be others fill the void.

if the "want to" isn't there then i don't mind if he quits. give me a player with less ability and the desire and moxy to play his best every down for the good of the team or the fear of someone taking his spot over ability every day. those players will fight for the extra yard, practice like they play and show the leadership that this team needs. i don't hold it against dibrell, if his heart wasn't in it then it's best for him and the team. god speed.
