Again, gave my observation from when the "stadium questions" were asked, OK? I am not trying to lie or create any controversy, sure do not appreciate you insentuations. This is just how I viewed it, nothing else. Wrong or right! I tell you, I will go ahead and say it, your absolutely right on this one, happy now. You win and You got your way! Bet your one of those people who is not always right, but is never wrong.

Yes, :) because the fact that I know for a fact that there were not previously formed questions asked this past week and three weeks ago at the show obviously means that you can sum my entire life behavior as being not always right, but is never wrong.

and yes, i am happy now. :)

let's never fight again.

Even if Dodge did say something to the effect that he can't wait to have the majority of the team picked by him then I, as a fan, wouldn't be angry with him. I can understand that line of thought to an extent. Not necessarily as an excuse for failure... but, it is understandable that when he completely changed the program here and how extreme the change was that it can take time getting the right pieces in.

But, I know that actually saying it publicly would alienate the current team from him and be counter-productive.

It sure would be nice to have interviews with Deloach. He is an experienced college coach and should be media savvy. Why doesn't he give interviews? I know Mendoza hid behind the ropes but what about Deloach?

Big programs have their Coordinators available, why not here in Denton?

Don't you think having DeLoach talking about the game again and re-living that would just make him mad enough to untuck his shirt and start yelling (ie sidelines)? He could twist off on a fan or something which would raise a different problem.

What big programs are you talking about have their coordinators available? If you watch press conferences and/or coaches shows (which by the way are on ESPNU during the day) the only coordinators I have seen speak is Steve Sarkisian of USC or Dan Mullen of Florida. Unless the TV program is doing a special on that coordinators part of the team (like on ESPN Gameday on Sat. Mornings) then the coordinators don't talk to the media often, at least from what I have seen.

Hey, all in fun, debating on this board. Just to let you know, Dodge said that regardless who recruited these players, they are his players, and he is their coach. I did not communicate that properly. I think he started off stating that an some might want to make the excuse that you have to wait to have players for your system, but he said that was not the case, we need to win now. I edited my post to reflect that as I did not properly communciate that. Have a great day, and certainly we won't fight again.

Is this the beginning of SLC fans turning on DeLoach?

He's talking to the media - just not ours and not about NT: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...8091903560.html

He's not a great, talented guy," said Gary DeLoach, who coached safeties at UCLA and now is the defensive coordinator at North Texas. "He's just not, and he knows he's not. He works hard and plays hard because he knows that. If he was a great talent, he would've went higher [in the draft]. But he's had to make his niche by being around the football. He doesn't see it through a glass eye that, 'I'm going to be the star.' He knows, and that helps him.
