There was a good UNT contingent at Rice. The band, the fans and the enthusiasm was great. Dr. Bataille was there. Remember, this was for a team that is 2 and 14 over the last year or so and many of those games have been humiliating blowouts.

We can quiet the oppostion this weekend by putting 20,000 fans in Fouts. This is not the time to bail out. This is a great opportunity to show everyone that if 20,000 fans show up for a terrible team just think what will happen when we win. Heck, we better build a new 34,000 seat stadium because we are going to need it. Putting people in the seats is "critical" in that it proves we will support our team year in and year out during the downs as well as the ups. Rice only had 16,000. This is a good CUSA team with a storied SWC history. Only 16,000 folks!

Lets cut the negative BS and talk about abolishing football or whatever.

We have before us an unblievable chance to make one hell of a statement this weekend! BE there and bring your friends!!!
