That Whole Pit Bull Thing

I heard today one of the worst stories of this kind. A baby was crying in a living room, and the family had the screen door closed, but the other door open. Two pit bulls in the neighborhood heard the baby crying, broke through the screen, and fought over the baby, tearing its head off.

If that happened to us, I'd tie the owners to our cars (head to mine, feet to my wife's) and start driving. See how they like it.

Pit bulls should be banned. Here is the new rule I propose: All pit bulls must be spayed or neutered. No one has to give up any they currently have, but you can't get more.

I never got very heavy about it before FFR started putting up all the stats; I'd only ever heard of a few attacks. But it turns out it's just not national news when it happens anymore.

It's not that it's been "deemed" dangerous; I think we have enough proof that having pit bulls somewhere other than in a confined space or on a leash IS dangerous.

And by confined, I don't mean a cheap fence, as that hasn't helped in some situations.

Thats just like me...I can hit the 210 yard 4 iron from the left rough with a 50 yard draw around the trees, over water to a postage stamp green...and get it on the proper tier...but a 100 yard wedge shot...nah...I'm blading that clear over the green.
