it's "Will we look competitive this year?"

Let's be completely honest. Moral victories are for losers. We can point to all of the little positives we want but when you bite into a &^it sandwich and revel in the fact that it's on fresh bread you're kinda missing the point. Our defense is really really bad. Our offense isn't stellar. And even if both of these parts of the gameplan hit on all cylinders our special teams will spot the opposition at least a touchdown per game. It's not pretty, and it won't get prettier soon. Sorry. It just won't. Who left on this schedule can you say in your heart of hearts we will hang with? The ULL team that actually gives the big boys a game? Ark State who beat an aTm team who, while down this season, would put up 40 at least on us? Troy? Please. FAU? Nope. FIU? They beat us last season and they progressed not regressed. ULM? Not up their place and they too look better. MTSU? Uh uh. And Western Kentucky will be laying in wait to remedy what we did to them last season. Buckle up folks.
