1) either stop kicking field goals or move Trent Deans to extra point kicker!

2) the most important key! drop North Texas football all together and pick up womens field hockey! at least we would be able to accomplish something in that sport!

3)If we don't do the number 2 key then we could always change our offense to the Maryland I and just keep our defense in a prevent(which will be better then what it is now).

Since we are throwing out absurb suggestions, here is one I was thinking about today.

It was obvious that we were not going to stop Rice (until they stopped trying on offense). So, I was thinking why not kick an onsides kick after each score ? The onsides kick percentage would actually be higher than the percentage that we were stopping Rice (which was zero for most of the first half).

I actually had this thought when we scored to make it 28-20.

Of course, the coaches would never do this because it basically tells the defense that they have no confidence in them. But, at least for today, onside kicks would have probably been more efficient.

It's not absurd if it's true.

The key key to success is score more points than your opponent. I guarantee that if we do this every game then the North Texas program will definitely turn around. 60% of the time this will work everytime.
