Look, I was as hopeful as the next guy/gal during these first 4 games, but after going 2 - 10 last year I really didn't expect this team to go 4 - 0 at the beginning of this season. Our defensive woes from last year weren't going to be solved overnight. Today's loss wasn't good. There's no way to spin it, but come on. I don't care if you're defending the program anymore or not ... at least give these guys some credit for going out there and trying to do their best. Who knows ... they still could play well in conference, but I guess no one seems to care because the sky is falling.

Hate to rain on your green parade, but the SBC is pretty strong from top to bottom. This isn't the same Sun Belt DD ran all over a few years ago. NT might win 1 SBC game this year.

Trying my damndest not to knee jerk here, but I can't remember ever being this embarrassed about our football team. Todd Dodge would make a solid non-BCS offensive coordinator...I'll leave it at that.

Jeez...and special teams. How many fumbled returns did we have that they qucikly scored on? We couldn't stop their offense...period. And then when we did, fumbled return!

A lot of the play today is on the players who couldn't seem to tackle anyone.

The first 3 or 4 offensive series looked good, but then everything just stopped and the game went into the toilet.
