Story On Student Fee

We all should be thanking the following for his support. He actually gets it and understands the overall ramifications:

Warren Burggren, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, was among those who spoke in favor of the fee that would be used to build a venue that would seat 32,000 to 35,000. The stadium would be built outside of the Mean Green Athletic Center.

"Athletics is a way to reach out to people," Burggren said. "Every Saturday when we have a tailgate party on behalf of the College of Arts and Sciences, we raise $2,000-$3,000 for scholarships and more importantly we get the ear of people."

Warren needs to visit every class in the College of Arts & Sciences and have a five minute discussion with them regarding this.
