Anyone care to share anything from the Coach's show?

I know it would take significant time away from debating about the stadium, but I think there is a UNT football game this week.

Something about playing the game in groups of 17 snaps.

And the whole "we're going to win" thing he likes to pump the crowd with.

I had to turn it off early, but I didn't hear anything about his offensive gameplan. I'd sure like to know why he's playing the 3 - 5 yard dumps so much. I know he says the aforementioned quote so much for every game, but I can't help but wonder if he's protecting his QB and saving his eggs (aka team's health) for conference play.

Gio just looks so "contained" out there.

Saturday will be my first game to see the Mean Green this season. Is there a reason why we haven't thrown the ball downfield more, or have we and it hasn't worked? I keep reading about all these short dump off passes. Does Vizza just not have enough time? Curious as to someone's thoughts who has seen the team play.

He's playing to build a program. Hopefully we can one day count on him having built a program that is beating up on anyone, but for now it's not hard to figure out what he decided to do when down early in Manhattan.

You know, if DD had just kept his flap shut, we might have tolerated the OOC beatings. God bless those players who gave it their all.
