The Big 11 is overrated in my opinion. OSU is probably the best in the conference but in my opinion that is really not saying much this year.

I think that the Big 10 is tronger overall, but not so much at the top. Penn State, Ohio State and Wisconsin are all good teams, just not the higher quality that we are used to. Where they have really improved is the usual bottom three. Minnesota, Indiana and Northwestern are all unbeaten at this point. I believe that Iowa is also but so far they've been less impressive to me.

Troy is doing better than I expected with a new OC and QB but I don't think that they are quite ready to challenge Ohio State.

The only way Troy loses this game is they get homesick for the beautiful, scenic and friendly confines of Alabama...I hate really hate Ohio.

Meh. We were feeling pretty smug with 20 returning starters on both sides of the ball and plenty of depth. Everyone else here would, too. Nobody can really put a finger on it at all but I'd chalk it up to 2 consecutive NC losses. To the returning players, I imagine anything other than a NC victory would be a failure. This is what overwhelming media attention will do to a program. Stepping back from the limelight may be for the best right now.

So, yes, tOSU was overrated and rightly so. We just didn't think so.
