We Beat The Spread!

Take that Vegas! I'm calling this game a success, but the seven beers I had to drink for the seven LSU touchdowns have me a little wobbly and perhaps a little skewed in my judgment of the outcome of the game.

It stings a bit that a FCS team played them 10 points closer than we did even if they are App. State.

I call this game a semi success. Defense looked good out there against a stellar team. Granted they had a young QB.

But, our offense really needs to get their act together. They have too long to go.

I am happy it wasn't a 50+ point loss though.

MSU did win the Liberty Bowl last year.

Tubberville has a pretty stunning record against Top 10 schools while at Auburn(maybe 8-2 in his last 10 or something similar). That should be a great game.

I'm pleasantly surprised. However, the chaos surrounding Louisiana most of last week, combined with the fact that Auburn is around the corner, probably had this LSU team less focused. I'm not trying to be a Negative Nancy, but it is what it is.
