Day 1 Results

Looks like a great win for Cruz over #1 TTU player

Team went a combined: 15-1 in singles, with new recruit Irina winning handily in her 2 matches.

Doubles: 8-0 as a team including wins over Army and TX Tech.

Nice showing for the ladies. Apparently they have already cancelled play for Saturday and will try to play Sunday.

Excellent results, althought I wonder why Paula Dinuta is not playing?

the last day finished although hard to tell anything as ACU and TTU went home so many of the matches were defaults. Good win over Reid of SMU, but the UTA#1 put a beatdown on Cruz and Ranganathan.

Irina P. made a pretty impressive debut winning her draw and I would assume will be Top 2 for the Spring. I am still curious as to why Paula Dinuta did not play the tournament?

The ladies will have a step-up in competition this next weekend at the Rice Invitational if it is played.

Dinuta is taking intensive english courses this semester, and depending on her results, will become eligible to play in Jan.
