Trinity (euless) Ranked #1 In The Country

Thought that this was interesting. I remember Euless Eagle posting something about Trinity having a great program last year... anyways, they have moved up to the #1 ranked high school football team in the nation.

Plano is ranked #9 and is looking for revenge on Trinity after losing in double overtime last year in the state semifinals.

I was at the Euless Trinity Football Boosters Club meeting last Monday night. Coach Lineweaver and some of the players' parents are not that thrilled about that ranking. But, as Lineweaver said (in so many words), "It will give the players a memento of sorts". They seem to just consider it an unneeded distraction.

Southlake is probably only ranked because of the last few years. I doubt they go undefeated this year.
