If that Ike runs through Baton Rouge, in the vicinity, why would one of your four choices in moving the game be New Orleans? Secondly, Atlanta would get more rain and create travel issues for both teams as the rain hits the gulf coast. Shreveport would also receive rain depending on how fast Ike moves inland, leaving Dallas as the best option. Three of the four options are moronic if the storm hits Baton Rouge. Wonder if they would consider Houston?

Houston would be another good option. Perhaps Reliant Stadium would be a lot more money versus Texas Stadium.

Atlanta? Lot's of LSU'ers and UNT'ers there...

Dallas is the obvious choice. Lots of UNT fans can attend, and there will be a lot of Louisiana folks in the metroplex that weekend with the Hurricane comin' in.

Well, the latest models show Houston may not be a good option. Man, where's playmaker when you need him to give us the facts on Ike?

What would Atlanta do to travel costs? Atlanta is also in SEC territory so I can see why they would want the game there. Does NT have to agree to whatever LSU wants to do? If not why not... say sorry we won't go to Atlanta, come to Dallas or pay us off. Likely wishful thinking that the little guy would have any say in the matter.

Channel Five had a brief story about this on their six o'clock news. The LSU athletic director mentioned Dallas, Shreveport, and Atlanta. He pretty much ruled out New Orleans as a site. I guess Atlanta is far enough east that it would escape any problems with Ike. I am not sure which is closer to the Tiger fans, though.

During the coach's show, Rick V. said he told LSU officials we needed to have a decision on location by tomorrow morning. I'm hoping for Texas Stadium. It would be a great way to spend our 34th weddind anniversary.
