Promise of Pride Student Rewards System

Texas State Athletics would like to reward students who attend Bobcat events throughout the year. Starting August 29th when the Bobcat Volleyball team takes on Louisiana-Monroe at 11:30 a.m., current Texas State students will receive points for attending the event. Once students receive a specific amount of points per event, they will be awarded prizes. T-shirts, free food coupons, chances to travel with their favorite team, and shopping sprees are all obtainable, depending on the point level students achieve. For more information, go to http://www.txstatebobcats.com.

That's not a bad idea. Some incentives for students that want to get involved, and increased attendance across the board, not just in football or basketball. Good for Tx State.

Nice find Flyer - that is a GENIUS idea. Since you seem to have RV's ear, suggest this to him.

I do think we will see the largest group of students to come to a football game, today at fouts.

You could get really creative with the prizes: Like lunch with all the cheerleaders, a chance to play H-O-R-S-E against Johnny Jones, or a sideline pass for a football game... fun stuff like that. T-shirts and free food is boring.

I sent it along to Rick. It is a clever idea.

Sideline passes would be awesome, barring approval by the HC himself. The view there would be arguably better than a lot of the seats in Fouts. :ermm:
