The Mean Green could win if

1. If the players would not except losing. (The fear of the other team). Listen to Dodge you might learn something and do what he says. Every play is designed to score if everyone does their job on the field.

2. Need to quit talking and start doing the walking. Heard threads the defense played well. Almost 500yards is not good!!!!! LB's/DB's played scared. If i were losing 28- 0 at halftime someone needs to pay( like the guys in purple). :angry: Walking of the field is disgusting after Kstate scored. Believe me have some pride. #99 , #93 and #74 acted like they weren't going to take anybody's !@#$#@. Coach DeLoach is good but he is not playing.

3. Looking good in a uniform or being on Rivals doesn't make you a player . This is a job your getting your school paid for. Earn it.

4. Offensive Line needs to get in shape so, Vizza might throw one long pass. Kstate's o-line moved and pulled with ease. May need to get there strength and conditioning handbook. WR's need to catch the ball

5. Also, Everyone on this thread has to go to the games and get loud. If its in ten buck 2 you need to support your team.

Beat Tulsa!!!!!

6. :ph34r: Need leaders that are really doing the job, Not fake ones.

7. These guys have talent but, its not going to come easy. They are challenged by D-1 football toughness mentally and physically. No one can save them but the player's themselves. Be the group that turned this program around. Make history!! You could be just like Boise State

8. At least Hustle till you drop. (there are tv timeouts to rest)

9. Go Mean Green. Our group will be there supporting to the end. You guys are better than that.

Did you go to the game?

I met some parents: Dodge has these players excited and truly believing they are going to win every game.

It looked like some things happened yesterday that were not happening in practice: Fitz dropped a couple of first downers, Stickler dropped one. Stickler! never happened until then. Not much you can do about that.

O-line needs to get in shape? Vizza took 2 sacks that he had to because the wideouts were well covered on one, and what appeared to be a blown blocking assignment, or a misscommunication on the pickup? I spent most of the game pleasantly surprised because he wasn't running for his life; rather, making his reads and under no pressure. I guess I'm alone. A shotgun formation gives you all the time you need to throw a long ball. I like to think Dodge played the 5 - 7 yard passes because that's what the defense gave them. I've spelled my love for Roberson and Fitz before, but I'll be the first to say these guys are not 4.3 burners that will beat KSU's secondary on a post.

I was there. It hurts. Let's let them work out their kinks, and plan on beating Tulsa.

Games aren't won with pride and a lot of the things listed above. You aren't just good because you want to be, and you can't just hate your opponent to make them pay, you have to execute.

These kids wouldn't be out there playing and practicing and wasting their time out there if they didn't truly want to be there and win. Dodge will turn things around, he's got the right attitude, the right defensive coordinator, and he's getting the players to buy in. If everybody buys in to what Dodge is doing, and executes, then it will be Dodges fault if we lose. I really think the players realize this.

I would never question their will or want or belief in themselves. Especially from the outside looking in. The problem is in execution right now, which can be worked out because all the other things are there.
