so at least we now know why practice has been closed to the public. Guess Dodge does not want everyone to see how bad everything is looking.

on a positive note I am hearing Charley Brown's name being called quite abit so far. That is a good sign for Brown who has seemingly played every position.

I'm looking for positives but they're hard to find. Dibrell and Montgomery on offense maybe and I've heard Royce Hill's name called a few times.

When you're down 28-0 at the half, what do you correct? Very disappointing.

Just remember, there are a lot of freshmen and sophomores. It took Scott Hall and company a few games to gel and look what happened. Keep the faith and don't give up after one game. I'll look for us to rebound against Tulsa.

I will say that their QB was a bad ass. There were at least 4 or 5 times I remember that our defense got some heavy pressure on him (or even got a solid hit on him) and he still made a play. That guy will give the Big 12 fits this season.

Yes, that WAS our average last year. The offense left them out on the field to die! Too many 3-and-outs.

The defense is better, even if the scoreboard didn't show it.

Remember when Dickey's offense was dead meat after Southern Miss showed how to defense it in the NO Bowl? Did K-State expose us? Are we done?

Yes, You are right. Everyone come back next season.

The reactions here are really incredible. I don't understand a lot of the expectations. The score says things have gotten better from last year.

Next week is a winnable game in Tulsa. LSU is going to be bad, but we'll see how much progress has been made from this week to then.

Just calm down and support your team.

I'm not going anywhere, I enjoy suffering. Really, I believed we could put up points on A N Y O N E. Not as confident anymore. K-State is an average Big-12 team.

Maybe their team is average. Maybe their defense is good. Maybe our offense is awful. At any rate, one game has shown me nothing yet. I think we will be able to get a better gauge of things next week with eyes on.

Its amazing how accurate NCAA football can be. I simed the thing 5 times and it was always 50 something to 7. On the other had I simed Tulsa and we won by a TD.
