I'm pretty sure that these are SEC refs so that usually means that Florida crossing the goal line gets an unsportsmanlike penalty in and of itself.

A Bowling Green DL made a sack against Pitt and he pumped his fist and did a little dance and a flag flew. No celebratation allowed at all. I hope they call it consistantly all year long.

By far the worst unsportsmanlike was a couple of years ago in the Hawaii bowl. A Hawaii reciever scored, and hi fived a couple of fans and was flagged.

The funniest was in '01 @ NMSU when the announcer yelled over the PA "They finally got one!" in reference to a penalty on NT and a percieved inbalance of penalties. The refs warned him, and we laughed our arses off.

HIgh School Game this morning at TX Stadium... Timbrview reciever throws up the wolfpack sign to the student section as he crosses the goal line and got popped with a 15 yarder....

RIDDDDDDICULOUS

Florida was just called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty because Ahmad Black flexed his bicep after an 80-yard interception return for a TD.

The SEC officials flagged Darren McFadden nearly everytime the last 2 seasons that he flexed as he scored.

I am delighted to see the NCAA get tough on all the hot dogging that goes on during a game. It detracts from the game and has no place in it. I hope that they stay tough all year long.

I agree that bad sportsmanship needs to be stopped and some of these kids need to learn class, but flagging a player for high fiving fans at the back of an endzone is ludricrious. Let the celebrate without taunting.

---That was an awful call in my opinion. (I saw it) it wasn't taunting, was extremely short, and just a sudden reaction to the sack he made. I don't like these hot-doggers but that one was far from that. They have to allow "some" emotion and short reactions to the action.
