Just imagine how much rain we will get if that thing goes just a little bit west of where they think it will according to that.

NOAA

NOAA shows it coming in Thursday morning if it hits here at all, so it would be here and gone by Saturday.

I have been thinking the same thing - that storm better keep some speed once it hits the gulf coast and not slow down like da*mn Fey did - just creeping along enjoying the sights!

GO MEAN GREEN! GO Fast young Gustav - go fast!

they said it should be up here wednesday night and that it will be mostly moved out by late friday....hopefully gone by saturday!

That's assuming it doesn't slow down. According to weather dot com? it will. Friday it will be rolling in to the North Texas region.

Don't get too worked up, it is hitting the coast as only a Cat 2 hurricane. By the time it gets here, if it gets here it will be a tropical depression at best. More importantly it should be gone by Saturday. Heck NOAA has it gone by Thursday night
