SMU is leading 13-0 with 47 seconds left in the 1st. Then at the end of the first it is 13-14 Rice. and I missed both Rice scores I was not even out of my chair that long

These announcers are terrible. If they dont get off of their knees for June Jones soon, the little "NC-17" box is going to appear at the top of my screen.

Did anyone else see the clip in the first quarter of the little kid walking down the stadium steps? One of the announcers said "That kid would have something to brag about when he is older. He can tell them he was at June Jones first SMU game."

Sickening.

Would someone tell Jones and his staff to tuck their shirts in? This ain't Hawaii and those aint luau shirts.

Just got in from dinner. Rice up 28-13 at halftime. Has Rice's offense looked that good or has SMU's defense looked that bad?

Both. Once Rice got on track and settled down they now look like Wake Forest against Baylor.

Rice looks beatable and SMU looks tired and lost already.....I just hope Rice doesn't let up just to be nice.

Rice does look beatable. They would be trailing if SMU had ANY defense. I am sure that a DeLoach led unit would not be making the same mistakes. The Owls QB is pretty good though, however I think that Gio is already up to his level. I am soooo cautiously optimistic this season.

I am really hoping we see tomorrow that DeLoach has been able to get our defense to actually look like there are players out there, because this Rice team can move the ball.
