Thanks DeepGreen, for giving us a perspective of how the right chooses to see his positions.

Here, maybe they can figure it out if they read this.

They may even learn something if they can get past this US/THEM mentality.

Ironic, seeing as how McCain states he would have voted against a bill he personally wrote...

Then the Dem's should love McCain considering Pres. Bill has made a career of flip-flopping.

I know what you mean... It's not like a bill starts off as a good idea and morphs into a monster through committees and amendments and joint committees. That never happens.

The question was whether he would vote on his original piece of legislation if it ever came to a vote. He answered no.

He's talking about the immigration bill.

...he totally flip-flopped on that issue because he was convinced by the massive outcry against the measure it was the wrong way to go.

For the record... I don't think much of McCain, but he's a HELL of a lot better than Obama. They are both flip floppers. Most politicians are... "What, the polls disagree with me? I'd better get in line, to hell with my personal beliefs..."

Apparantly he tried to change his stance on his voting record in regards to the "Live Birth" Abortion issue while in the Illinois Senate.

This link discusses his voting record on the "live birth" abortion issues Hillary brought up back during the primary. I imagine as November nears we will hear more on it among other things? I don't care for the guy politically. But I'm hoping it's all a misunderstanding on his part as to what he was voting on because I can't see any concerned father, or anyone who has raised a child denying care to a newborn?

Going into last college football season I thought we had an experienced defense that was going to have to support our offense while it went through the growing pains of learning a new system. It took about 4 minutes of football in Norman for me to "flip-flop"

Nothing about political discussion whips me more than the idea that a politician can't change his mind or reaccess in the face of new evidence.

I agree, but there is a difference between reassessing your position and changing course, and trying to convince both sides of an issue that you're really on their side.

I have never in my life changed my mind about anything. Even in the face of overwhelmingly contradictory information, I've never budged. It's the one quality I posses of which I'm most proud.

I'd like some real evidence about what issues Obama has flipped-flopped on. Give me some links and some decent analysis. Seriously, I'm banking you can't find much. And I will go ahead and throw out his softness on the FISA bill, you get a freebie there.
