If I remember right, Sagarin uses the prior year for the first 2 or 3 weeks. So this rating is based on last year.

It's crap!!! But, it's not unexpected. There is NO WAY to incorporate A and AA rankings because there is not enough commonality of games played. Even then, he only has two A teams ranked below us. It's not where you start but where you finish. We may even surprise the Sagarin computer.

Well, it's easy to see that the Sagarin ratings don't have much to do with last year's head to head matchups (Michigan-App State, KSU-Texas, UNT-La-Monroe,etc.). FAU could get them started not having much to do with this year's by beating Texas. I guess I would have to agree with Hawaii being #55; really it was a weak schedule that kept them undefeated. I wonder if Georgia is getting a little too much respect this year for blowing them out last year.
