Parcells has used him as a messenger for several years now, since they were together at ESPN in between Tuna's gigs. A lot of pundits have said how happy the Dolphins are with R. Williams, and I am sure they like a no nonsense worker like Cobbs. I know Patrick's work ethic first hand as he painted my house the summer before his senior year. Did a great job.

if givien a chance with blocking and an average to good field, Cobbs will excite you !! he catches,runs,cover kicks,runs back kicks. Led most game stats for rookie rb’s @ Patriots. Alot of backs have gone thru the college ranks and only 69 have crossed the 4000 yd mark. He is one of them !!

As much as I'd like to believe it, it sounds like a Parcells "motivation" technique more than anything realistic. No way he leaves his running game to a 31 year old dope head.
