Can the tailgate flagpoles be aluminum or fiberglass or are there restrictions where you can just use a certain type? Thanks.

I used an extending aluminum flagpole. It's 20 feet tall a flies the Stars and Stripes and the Mean Green Battle Flag at every home game.

i had an aluminum one that i bought last year and it broke...it sucked! i'm going to buy some pvc pipe for the flag pole this year! hopefully, that will fix it.

WOW, that sounded bad.

Reminds me of...where is it on Carroll? They always had that sign on wheels out front, just up from Hickory. Approaching July 4th back in 97 or 98 they advertised "FLAGS AND FLAGPOLES" and someone stole the first "L" of "Flags" and of "Flagpoles". My friend wanted to call and see if he could get a boyfriend (yes, he's gay). The sign stayed like that for about a month or so. Either they didn't notice, or they couldn't afford more "L"s, or they had a serial thief. Regardless, it was classic, and I wish I had a picture.
