It was fairly easy to get in today. Wore an old Johnny Quinn jersey and just kept on walking.

Lot of offensive starters stayed out of the scrimmage. Won't mention names for fear of the wrath of the elder statesmen on the board.

First team really moved the ball but they had a very quick whiste on #15. Anyone within 5 ft. and they would call the play dead. Quick strike and ran some new wrinkles that no one has seen all of last season. Any friendly fire, feel free to ask me with a pm. But I will not put it on the board.

I believe Dodge has found his a couple of big time leaders on offense and defense and has found some new players who will make a difference on offense. Dibrell, Jamal, and Rod are going to have some big games. Casey and Brock will lead the team in catches with Dibrell third. Roberson, Jamal, Rod, and Mosely will round out the remaining touches in the passing game. However, Lott has a shot in the slot as well. The key of the top three WR's is they rarely if ever put the ball on the ground be it practice or scrimmages.

Kicking game was off today. Defensively, we will be a team that possess strong LB play. The defensive will be much more platooned than in years past, imo. All D-line and Db"s will get plenty of reps in the OOC schedule.

Jamal will be special on kick returns. Expect Dunbar to be factor in the return game as well.

We did have a ankle injury to a key freshman but will let the pros elaborate. We need to get some key offensive guys get healthy the next two weeks and we need the freshman DB core to continue to get better (and they are definitely doing so).

OL play will be the key as it is in any season. We have to chance to be lethal on offense. TD has really let his coaches, coach, so much more, and has taken an interest in every facet of the game this season.

Jamel, my bad.

He looked good on kickoffs in spring. It seemed they were trying other guys on punt returns lately, can he do punt returns too? Thanks for the scrimmage notes. :)

People probably aren't going to like this post, but it is ridiculous to ask people to not talk about scrimmage notes on this board. K-State, or any other team in college football doesn't use message boards for their scouting info.

If they want information, then they know how to get it. Nothing said, and I stress NOTHING, will be used to defeat the Mean Green in any contest from a damn message board! It is ridiculous to think any other way.

It is far more valuable to this program to discuss practice notes for others to get excited about...ESPECIALLY those new to following the program. Many people on this board are very good at talking about what goes on in practice in a way that gets people excited about Mean Green football.

If people forbid others to discuss positive info from practice, all people have to listen to is a TON of NEGATIVE bs about what horrible shape our program is in due to any range of things from some girl named Mandy (who god forbid we let that one die), to the obvious need for a new stadium, all the way to any other negative thing we can talk about.

BUT...God forbid we discuss practice notes, because too many coaches have internet scouts waiting to learn something about our gameplans or personnel. Granted this would be something that they wouldn't learn from game film.

Sorry for the rant, but I have heard this for years on this board, and it seems to grate on my skull a little more every time I hear it...TEAMS GET NOTHING FROM MESSAGE BOARDS TO USE AGAINST US IN GAMES!!!

I agree with you. I think its more a control issue.

I'm not in the loop as far as what the specific exchange was about, but admins have only [publicly] expressed concern when it came to his comments regarding injuries or, in general, information that is not supposed to be released.

Nautique seems to have access to areas and players that we would normally not be allowed to have? I don't know if it's his job or what not, but it sounds like the admins want him to be careful about what he does/doesn't say.
