To be fair to Walter, Di was mentoring Seung-Hui Cho.

To continue our game...

The Kennedy family's Catholicism caused the '72 Munich hostage crisis.

Mark Connor killed Cory Lidle

Winston Churchill is responsible for every Pit Bull attack...ever.

Also...I was holping for some more love on my art comment towards our mutual acquaintance. Too high brow?

You guys are funny!

Bill Clinton's foreign affair policies did not go after known terrorism with any conviction compared the previous administrations. So to imply there is no connection is really good for a laugh.

I guess this Al-Quida thing just grew the first 9 months of Bush's Administration, even though the planing and training all happened under Clinton.

That is all I had to add, make up your own shit to fit your stories. I am sure it will be good for joke or two.

Why do we bicker when we all know that Hollywood is to blame for everything.

Jack Black causes down syndrome

Keanu Reeves is personally responsible for the death of Tim McLean

Dennis Hopper and Gene Hackman conspired to get Kelvin Sampson fired.

Besides...if you try and tie me in with Haymarket I may just have to divulge the secret behind your sceen name

I've only got one, but I'm quite sure of it's validity.

Thurman Munson single handedly caused the onset of the Irish Potato Famine, regretted it, grew a mustache and chops to disguise himself, and eventually put an end to it.

Clinton did nothing about Bin Laden, and no one knew what was going on before 9/11. Billy boy did not do anything but let the Terrorist organizations grow under his administration even with the attacks on the Cole, the World Trade Center, and the Embassies. His foreign policy was complete crap in this area, he was too worried about where he was getting his next BJ. I believe the Clinton administration is the most to blame for 9/11 by allowing Al-Queda to flourish.

Iraq and Georgia are not remotely the same situation in any regard, what a silly comparison.

Page numbers refer to the 9/11 Commission Report.

Attention to Terrorism: Clinton Administration

P 174: President Clinton "deeply concerned" about Osama Bin Ladin.

P 101: President Clinton makes chemical, biological, and nuclear terrorism a priority.

P 109: Clinton Administration establishes "the Bin Ladin unit."

P 358: Clinton Administration's management of the last weeks of December 1999 was "the one period in which the government as a whole seemed to be acting in concert to deal with terrorism."

P 487: Clinton Administration successful in arresting al Qaeda members.

P 457: Richard Clarke runs exercise where terrorists use plane for suicide mission.

Attention to Terrorism: Bush Administration

P 202: Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and his deputy Paul Wolfowitz argued against retaliation for the bombing of the USS Cole, saying the issue was "stale"

P 208: President Bush neglected to fill the key counterterrorism policy office in the Pentagon after the former official departed January 20.

P 201: Richard Clarke submits memo to Condoleezza Rice saying "we urgently need... a Principals level review on the al Qaeda network."

P 201: No Principals Committee meeting on al Qaeda held until September 4, 2001.

P 203: Principals Committee meetings on Iraq and Sudan before one on al Qaeda.

P 509: Bush administration holds 32 Principals Committee meetings on subjects other than al Qaeda before 9/11.

P 200: Rice downgrades the Counterterrorism Security Group.

P 197: December 2000 "Blue Sky" memo on terrorism urges increased support to Northern Alliance and Uzbeks to fight Taliban and al Qaeda.

P 202: White House postpones aid to Northern Alliance and Uzbeks.

You do realize the typical snatch and grab policies and other anti-terrorist programs we had in effect for several administrations before Bill were mothballed by Clinton, even though he did these few things things with a weak conviction, the overall picture is that Bill did nothing compared to the administrations that preceded him.

Big whoop. Selective citations from a report that few Americans have read, and that many political leaders threw away almost immediately after it was published. There were so many conflicts of interest on that Commission, it's not even funny. Nearly everyone who testified either concealed facts or flat out stated falsehoods. EVERYONE, Bush and Clinton officials. The conclusions were negotiated in committee in order to prevent blaming any one agency or person or identifying any one failure or miscalculation. It was a complete waste of time that came to few conclusions and offered fewer solutions. Establish an International Youth Opportunity Fund... seriously?

Back on topic:

The Russians now control 1/3 of Georgia, defying the cease fire agreement. We just signed a missile defense agreement with Poland.

Is the Cold War heating up again?

So what you're essentially saying is that FDR's polio caused American illiteracy?

While I think you might be right on John Wayne (though I have also heard that Wayne's racism is the root cause of sickle cell anima in African Americans)...I do fear you might have your Roosevelts confused. TR has been definitivly proven to be the motivation for numerous mass murderers including those of Andrew Kehoe and Edward Charles Allaway...even as recently as Dylan Klebold...and I think I might be able to tie him in with Tang Yongming.

FDR's polio actually caused the Galveston Hurricane of 1900...some 30 odd years after it happened.

Yeah, his administration was, and that's exactly the problem. Bin Laden's network was around long before Clinton took office. Clinton wasn't as on the ball about terrorist threats during his term in office.

Not 100% sure where you're heading with this...but my comment was in direct response to the complete falling down in logic made in this statement:

"Clinton did nothing about Bin Laden, and no one knew what was going on before 9/11."

In just one sentence Clinton is blamed for 9/11...while inaction in the almost year of Bush administration is absolved due to ignorance. Really...this combination of 17 words deserves a :clapping:

No, I'm with you. Clinton really did let things go as far as intelligence and whatnot goes. That's not an excuse for Bush to do the same thing, that should actually have been a motivation to tighten it up.
