He seems like a very fine young man, and a potential asset to the team. He's already had more than his share of adversity in his life, and seems to have worked through it. I look forward to following his progress as a D-1 football player for us.

At practice and scrimmages, offensive players always wear white jerseys and defensive players always wear green jerseys. When a player goes to the other jersey color side of the ball for a drill or maybe a special teams play, then they put on that red "cap" to help eliminate the confusion with more than one jersey color on that side of the ball.

Oh good! I was concerned that it might mean that he was injured and not to be hit.
