(CNN) -- Comic actor Bernie Mac died early Saturday of complications from pneumonia, according to a family member and his publicist. He was 50.

Wow, didn't see that coming.

I didn't know people still died of pneumonia in this country. (except the elderly and AIDS patients)

I read the full release. He was in remission from some weird disease that develops polyps or something in the organs but that may have contributed...
