My MVP of the evening would probably have to be true freshman defensive back Darien Williams. Darien just has a swagger about him and an intensity like he belongs. I heard Coach Deloach praise Williams after an acrobatic interception on a deep pass. “…..” That’s a big time play son, great job - keep it up! For DeLoach to give that type of praise this early is no small feat for Williams. He continues to punish players that happen into his zone and appears coachable which bodes well for his future.

Hmmm, imagine that?

Thanks for the report, good insight. Darien William's football-sense was impressive in the HS all-star game; I can tell he's a good one. I am concerned about Drake's ankle re-injury.

BTW, how did you sneak past the Fouts bouncer for this report? :ph34r:

Great report. That's what it's all about--getting the best players possible in here to run the system. Getting the recruiting level up. Coaching them up.

Man, I'm ready for football season.
