Friday Pm Practice Closed to Public

SUMG and I were watching practice together and we were trying to get some numbers and personnel straight and a fellow GMG'er offered us a roster off of the Athletic website w/o the newcomers on it. SUMG left and I was there watching the final plays of practice talking to my brother on the phone. Some dud came up from the feild and said, "hey, what is that you have?, by the way if you are reporting anything it is illegal" WTF?? I don't know who this short fat guy was but he was hillariously rude and obnoxious. Certainly not fan friendly. Reporting what??? to WHO?? It was a Monday practice w/o pads. I just chuckled and laughed with the fan that gave me the roster. What a joke! It's not like I'm an outsider. I had a NT Alumni shirt on!!!! Whatever!

Barrow is responsible for many of the off-field logistics regarding Mean Green football, including practice and meeting schedules, community relations efforts, departmental budget, game-day operations and team travel.

So Mandy is responsible for some training as well?

He may be under orders to watch for practice spies, but at 2-10 I don't think we've achieved spy-able status yet. Perhaps he's a nice guy when not "on the job"? Maybe community relations was left out of his job description.

Anyone that thinks they need a practice closed when your team just went 2-10 the previous year, is fooling themselves. Highly doubt LSU or KSU is sending scouts to sit at Fouts in the first week of practice.
