Haven't heard when the official schedule will be released but this looks like there are quite a few possibles being worked on including K State, Tulsa, LSU, Rice among others. Would this get released at the upcoming media days or does it normally go through Sunbelt office? Also looking back wasn't it 2004 when we had 5 or 6 games televised? I'm not sure how reliable it is though because there are quite a few TBA listed on the network.

If I recall from prior seasons, that LSU schedule typically displays most (if not all) of the scheduled games...marked as TBA. However, as the TV games do get confirmed they will update that TV schedule.

I am hopeful for one or two NT games on TV this year...

On a side note, I will be flying down for the ASU game this year, and I am REALLY hoping that game has Conference implications! (Either that, or we have already wrapped up the Championship would be nice) ;)

The football schedule poster lists the FIU (home game) and the WKU (away game) as being part of the ESPN Regional TV package. Those games are on ESPN Game Plan for you fans out of the area. Here locally they are televised on one of the independent channels (it had been 52; last year's were on either 21 or 27 as I recall).

There has also been word that the LSU game might be on Cox Cable systems. But as I recall that broadcast would just be a tape delayed.

Is ESPN GamePlan worth the buy?

I've never been happy with GamePlan. Until they can guarantee every game in the nation, which would require a partnership with more than just ESPN, I'll never go back.

I like Game Plan, and will get it again this year.

Even if you don't order Game Plan...you ought to be happy with it. Because I'm betting that if it wasn't for Game Plan.....ESPN wouldn't be carrying all those SBC games every year on ESPN Regional.

I individually bought each of the North Texas games that were broadcast on GamePlan. I can't remember if they had 3 games or 4, but that's $90 or $120. Right now the package is going for $109, so if you're interested in watching other games besides the UNT games, I'd say it's worth it. Even with the sorry announcing.

EDIT: I just saw the Sun Belt TV schedule linked above, and it looks like North Texas only has 2 games scheduled for ESPN+. More may be added to that, but for me it's not worth the package price for 2 UNT games.

--Viewership would be worse if it wasn't on Cinemax.... A lot of folks would be watching that channel instead. A second theory is --it might be good to be on Skinamax (make that Cinemax) at that hour since a lot of people would be checking in to see what is showing...
