I just wanted to put a shout out to the great GreenGrenadeII. It was truly a pleasure to again sit and convo with you once more Rick.

And for all of you new Mean Green fans, I highly suggest the next chance you get you should meet and visit with this living legend and father of The Flyin' Worm. If you want a great education and insight on the history of NT athletics and if you have the time, he can more than fullfil your needs. And the best part is that he lived a lot of it, especially during the Hayden Fry era in which he was working in our AD department at the time. He's a walking encyclopedia on North Texas athletics. I have spoken with him many times over the years that I have known him and yet still heard two more funny stories last night that I had never heard before. For me, my all time favorite was about the trip to Tennessee back in 1975. GGII, you should write a book on your experiences at NT.

FFR, I couln't agree more. I've spent several hours over the last several years with him and find Rick's stories, if nothing else, very intertaining. I am certain they are largely accurate because you just can't make some of those stories up. I would love to see a book published with RS as a contributing editor!! Or, why not a UNT history book with Coach Fry as a contributing editor?? Many contributors are still alive and could really make tis a good read. Toes would no doubt get stepped on!!
