Thanks guys for arranging this with RV. It was a good way to get everyone on the same page about what's going on with different projects and events. Thanks to RV for being understanding about our rants and frustrations sometimes.

This was a great interview with a man that has moved this program light years ahead. I gained a whole new insight and respect for RV from this. He has an extremely difficult job. Most of all I want to apologize for the negative comments I have made in this forum even toward the student vote. What will be will be, and all that any of us can do is try our best to be positive. It's just that it has been sooooo many years ( and three wives) of trying and hoping that the Mean Green and UNT could be thought of with the respect that they deserve. Feel free to remind me of this anytime I show my impatience ( as RV said 50 years is a long time to wait, but the people there now did not cause this problem). God Bless You RV and God's Speed in all the work that you are doing . Let's all take a moment to give thanks for the people and especially the A.D. and coaches we now have. I know it could be much worse. I have seen it in the worst of times and the best of times, and I know as passionate as I am to see it succeed these men and women live with it every day. No matter how you might feel about RV, please just try and remember how difficult his job really is. I needed this to remind me of that. Thank you again Harry and Cerebus for doing this interview. I promise I will try to say positive good things or say nothing at all. Feel free to remind me if I get off track again at any time.

Thank you again Harry and Cerebus for doing this interview.

I just want to set the record straight. Due to a prior commitment I was not able to attend this "taping". It was Harry and Evan who did the interview.

I do plan on being a regular part of the podcast team, just not this time, and I wanted the credit to go where it deserved.

      What is this program missing?

      This part of your argument is just not true. North Texas has claimed 25 conference championships in football all time, tied for 13th most in the FBS. I would say a “signature win” would be the win over undefeated #22 UTSA in 2021. Looking a little further back, are you forgetting about the season we beat Rice and Texas Tech on the road, and also nearly beat Texas at DKR?

      You sound like the idiots on the Minnesota board. One can't always just look at conference affiliation and automatically assume "yeah that team is good/bad" dependent on that alone.

      I can’t go back 20 years, but with the last DC we paid a lot for someone who didn’t know how to adapt to his personnel or recruit Texas or have any relations with high school coaches in Texas Then let him hire position coaches that were only GA’s (no recruiting trail opportunities). So we tried not spelling Texas. And you see where we lack depth on defense and it’s all attributed to those relationships. In G5 conferences we have to get THAT guy. It’s important on signing day and the transfer portal. But I can see the frustration. But if I’m wrong it sure not the first time

      They were a better seed (12) in the NCAA Tournament last season than we've been in any of our four previous trips. A good team is a good team, no matter the league.
