I like this one.

2. UNT will have a deeper and more talented group of wide receivers.

Once again, I buy it. I have not gone back and counted, but I think UNT has signed approximately 83 wide receivers since Todd Dodge took over as head coach. The law of averages says some of these guys have to be decent. Dodge has been telling anyone who will listen that guys like Sam Dibrell are ready to break out.

Any student of comedy knows that large odd numbers are funny.

Besides, it's not too much of an exaggeration. B)

Any chance any of those 83 are big enough to do some fill in time on the DL?

"I just don't buy that UNT won't miss Thomas at least a little."

I agree...and there's nver been anyone more fun to watch than Jamario.

I disagree. Thomas was electric to watch. I think he did adjust to Dode's scheme last year and was an above average blocker when called upon. But this offense won't miss a beat without him.

As much fun as that 1800 yard season was, he might have been more fun in this offense, because he would have had less wear and tear during his career.

Would have love to see him catch a swing pass or get in behind the lb's and just kill people in the open field

It was a great set-up for the joke too. Vito made me laugh out loud.

I declare that Vito shall be granted a one week pass from criticism on GMG. Any violations of this proclaimation shall be dealt with in the severest of methods. (see edited Quoner's crackhead mama post)

So it has been written, so it shall be done.

Sorry chief, I can't get behind this free pass

Holman finished second on the team in tackles with 74, while Mendoza was second with 66

I guess if you ain't first, yer last, err second.

There may be an answer to this I missed somewhere, but will practice be open??

I think so. Last night at the Cookout, Dodge made it a point to let all of us know when, where, and at what time the players are practicing. I could be misreading his statements, but I think the public is allowed in.
