I'm beginning to think we should have tried to sign this kid. From what I understand, we weren't interested...and he signed with Northwestern State (La.). Anyway, last night Cory scored 23 in the Texas High School Coaches Association All Star Game. Plus, he won the half-time dunk contest/

Argyle? Sounds like a white guy...and we all know there's no place for a talented white guy on this squad.

He is actually black. I saw him play against Princeton last year and he is not a player I would want at UNT. He is a talented young man but not talented enough to play at the mid-major level.

Anyone know where the kid from Denton High went? I think he graduated last year.

Hunter? I think he also signed with Northwestern St.

Chase Spruiell is going to D-2 St Edwards. According to Rivals, Spruiell probably would have had some D-1 offers if he had waited, but he liked Austin and St Edwards and decided to go there. Rivals said Denver was constantly in contact with Spruiell. Other interested D-1's were UTSA, Marist and Brown. I think he would have been perfect for the Denver offense. Last year's AAU Dallas Heroes ran the Denver offense and Spruiell usually was the leading scorer.

Fred Hunter of Denton is going to Nichols St.

Is this Deon Hunter's son?
