A secondary with D.J. Monroe cannot be considered a non-quality one. Not only was he very impressive on defence he was the most valuable offensive player of the game. He will see alot of playing time for the longhorns this year.

Yes, he is oddly quiet today.

The game was on in Houston, although the on-air menu didn't list it. Hopefully if will be on today and I can watch all of it.

I did recently tape a replay of the Bayou Bowl and watched it last night. I was really impressed with the play of Coleman Feeley on the OL. I only saw him really get beat on one play, yet the play resulted in a TD. The rest of the game he was extremely impressive and probably the biggest OL on the Texas team.

Royce Hill was also impressive although he got beat for a late TD, he was in man coverage and over-ran the play when the pass was under thrown. I think we will all be impressed with these recruits in a few years.

Not sure why we didn't sign Ben Parks. I'd rather have a kicker for four years like Baz, instead of signing a JUCO and having to replace him in two years.

R.J. Washington was a monster.
