Earlier this summer we discussed Dodge forming some type of club or team (hopefully similiar to what Myer did at Utah). Any new info on this? I'd like to see a wild and rowdy group of students decked out in green making a tremendous amount of noise this year.

Dodge City or bust

I hope that is the name of the group. I thought though...when they first mentioned it....it had some dog related name...like Dog Town.....or something like that.

Surely that was an error...unless we're trying to emulate the Cleveland Browns or something.

I'm for Dodge City. The Dog Pound sounds more like a farm group of Georgia.

I'm not. When Dodge leaves, it will have to be renamed and yet another opportunity to build tradition is missed.

But do we really want the tradition of being called dog pund? That is the question...

How about "soylient green"....it is people after all.

It needs to be able to withstand the test of time, and change in coaching. If J.J. ever leaves to coach a Big East basketball team, we'd still be the Pit Crew.

Ok then, how about Dodge's Dogmatics or Diplomats.
