My column in this Friday's SPORTSPAGE WEEKLY is the ICE BOWL (Green Bay 21, Dallas 17 in 14 below temps and 46 below wind chill).

Next week, watch for all the fun of the North Texas Mean Green's SNOW BOWL GAME, with Florda State barely beating NT 21-20.

Also, I am of the belief that Todd Dodge will be the reason for us BUILDING A NEW FOOTBALL STADIUM..."period! Case closed!!!! Unless Jordan Case is involded! He IS and always

has been a WINNER!!!!

Must go now, time for breakfast!!! Peanut better and mayonaise sandwich with scrambled eggs! If you can get this down, you can do anything!

Totally agree with that. Jordan Case has always been my favorite QB at North Texas. :thumbsup:

For the younger generation (FFR et al ), think of Scott Hall with a better arm and better peripheral vision to pick out second, and third receivers whilst totally ignoring the rush.

My favorite Jordan Case story.

Jordan Case played with wild abandon. He also was hurt a lot, although he was ready to play on Saturday afternoon.

A reporter from the D R-C noticed he was limping and asked him about it. Jordan replied, "I think that's just how I walk now."

When NT and SMU played at Texas Stadium back in whenever, Jordan and the SMU QB (named Ford) were hyped and were to have a real shoot out. Ford got hurt or something, and Jordan went to the photo session at Texas Stadium alone. I recall great photos of Jordan sitting atop the goal post alone and another of him twirling a football basketball style on his index finger.

Totally agree with that. Jordan Case has always been my favorite QB at North Texas.
