I know its not football related but I thought it was interesting. Denton is listed by CNNMoney as one of the best small cities in the US. Plus, its a nice pick of square.

Denton attracts residents with safe neighborhoods and school districts and two university campuses.

I know I have been away from Denton for a while, but is the courthouse lighted green normally?? That's an interesting sign of support even if it's not meant that way. Maybe, just maybe, this article is related to a reason why this will turn in to a stadium thread quckly. A major hotel chain may really want to move in on the northwest sid of town.

Denton also received a lot of publicity this morning on Good Morning America with the the beat down of a robber at Pizza Patron. Maybe soon we can receive publicity because of our awesome football team.

I have always loved Denton. I lived there for 10 years while in school and after graduating. Would have made it my permanent home had jobs not taken me else where. It is the perfect city. I loved riding my bike around campus and being there local for all of the events. I would move back if I could. It will always be home.
