If I were BYU, Utah, or Fresno I wouldn't like to be termed this year's Hawai'i. None of those 3 have College of Charleston on their schedules!!

But I give BYU the best shot seeing as they have UCLA at home and their road non conference isn't awful. I doubt my Bulldogs will finish undefeated seeing as we have to mess with 'sconsin and we always seem to blow it against Boise.

I wonder if FSU will make the exciting Hawai'i Bowl or the mighty New Mexico Bowl

Southern Miss had a 6 point win over ASU at Hattiesburg and with any luck ASU is healthy this go-round. Hopefully their dream ends in Jonesboro.

Hawaii wouldn't have been "the Hawaii" of last year if BYU had pulled the upset at UCLA or had fended off Tulsa. At 11-1 they would have gone ahead of Hawaii. You rarely get second chances. With three key road games and a home rematch against UCLA, I think they miss.

You have to like Utah. Only one key game on the road and its early season against a new coach.

Tulsa... Arkansas has a lot to replace and this is a high pressure game for Arkansas. It will be interesting to see how they react.

I just don't see an undefeated Tulsa getting much attention with that schedule. It's arguably worse than Hawai'is last year due to being in an even worse conference.

Three of the last four years a Non-BCS (NBCS) school has played against one of the BCS big boys in a BCS bowl

Ok, the article isn't starting off very well... somebody tell these bloggers that EVERY Div-IA team is a BCS conference, just not an automatic qualifier.

True, but the BIG SIX (aq or automatic qualifiers) conferences are commonly referred to as the BCS conferences and Indys, MAC. WAC, MWC,CUSA & Belt are commonly referred to as Non-BCS.
