Talked With Jj Today

I ran into JJ at the Great American Shootout today. Asked him about how things were going with the team and he seemed pretty excited. Said Odufuwa was exciting in practice last season (during his transfer sit out year) and he seems pumped about his this season. Said he was excited that we were so sophomore laden...we had a bunch of young guys get some pt last season. Said most people forget about Collin Mangrum but that he has grown 2 inches since last season (Quoner behave) and then said he has put on some muscle. Also made mention of the guy coming in from Paris JC.

As to the shootout Zeke and I saw JJ and Charlie Leonard both in the super pit and the PEB. There were several players there who looked like they had something in their bag...I saw quite a few white stiffs who would fit the yearly quota. I kid, I kid.

Though a huge field, the shootout on campus is not fan friendly at all! I enjoyed games at Denton High & Ryan. Matt Doherty went out of his way to speak to me as I got out of my car. Not an SMU fan, but the guy is really nice.
