Will Fitz be able to put up the same kind of numbers now that so much attention has been put on him?

Expect his role in the offense to diminish compared to last year because of the continued emergence of Dibrell, Roberson, and company. I say that, fully expecting the offense to be on another level of production, so he'll have about the same stats.

Depending on how much Vizza has developed, this could be a great year.

On the flip side, we are a thin offensive line (depth-wise) away from sputtering out many, many drives.

I have to think he's not going to be able to produce the same kind of numbers. But I do think he will be the best in the belt, and our overall offensive numbers will be better than last years.

Yeah, he's an amazing talented athlete. But last year, we constantly had our backs against the wall so much that Fitz was the consistant stand-out that could move the ball forward. Dont beat me up and tell me to not forget all the other guys, I realize theres alot of talent. Just saying that Fizt was was the consistant quick strike we would use to get out of jambs with a new offensive system. NOW, as much as I LOVE seeing the ball being thrown his way, I think it would be a mistake to fire at him as much. TD's system is more established and this will play into his plan of spreading the ball around the field more. You know any team playing UNT, in preparation of their pregame talk have a chalk board in front of them of things to focus on. On the top of that board, in bold lettering it says WATCH FITZGERALD!!!!!!!! Several times Fitz will be doubled leaving weaknesses for guys like Dibrell. Fitz's sucess last year will create more oppotunities this year.

Fitzgerald will be double teamed more this year, with every defensive

coordinator giving special attention to him. Just like Crabtree at T Tech.

I do believe Fitzgeral has the smarts and talent to beat the coverage

and he will have a great year. With the DC's giving added attention to

Fitzgeral, this should open up new opportunities for all the NT receivers.

Dibrell, Roberson, Stickler, and all the WR cast. Vizza will have a great

year. I also expect the run game to take off more this year because of

the passing game.

Is Fentress still with the team. If so , that's who to watch.

Wasn't he injured for the Spring Game?

I remember being so impressed by him last spring, and look forward to seeing him in action again. He could be a force.

Fentriss caught almost everything thrown his way during his first spring here. I haven't heard much about him since, so an injury would make sense for the reason as to why none of us have heard about him.

Yes, he was injured for the Spring following his year of sitting out per NCAA tranfer rules. I would expect big things from him this year.
