ZING!!!!!

I know what you're referencing!!!(hand raises)

Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!

Why couldn't they have just called it a White Hole???If you ask me Einstein was a dirty racist, and his general theory of relativity was nothing but a ploy to keep the black man perpetually down.

Obama/Price 08!!!!!!

I was with you until you put Obama on the same ticket as that ass clown.

well, if everyone read the article you would see JWP and the white guy have a history of hating each other, which prompted the silly comment by Price. The real idiot here is the JP Judge who requested the apology from the get go. Price surely didn't help with his idiotic explanation. If he would've just come out and said it was taken out of context none of this would be an issue. Of course, JWP is borderline crazy anyway........

I think you're being charitable.

--- That last comment is totally uncalled for and there is no similiarity....in fact there are some that would considered that as racist by lumping two people of the same race together. It isn't funny nor would it be if McCain's name was used either. I don't always agree with either guy but as long as they are trying to do what is best for Americans in general they don't deserve to be trashed. Having said that I lost faith in the current group when we invaded Iraq, I don't think there was enough evidence to do that (no other President has invaded a major country without being obviously provoked) and much of what they claimed just wasn't true ( which is why we had so little European support) and this seemed to be about helping his special interest groups (or his personal ego of being a war-President which are usually looked on with favor) . Meanwhile more that twice as many American soldiers have died in Iraq that died in 9-11 which was not connected to Iraq in any way.

--- The one reason I really dislike all of these radio political commentators is that they divide America and picture the opposition in very unfavorable light when it really isn't deserved and often not even close to the truth.

Well, JWP is a well known Democrat on the local political scene. I would assume that Obama/Price would make a little more sense than McCain/Price on that ground alone. You can throw around whatever racial allegations you choose, JWP would probably agree with them.

Man, if only we had more European support!

And the tide of the war would surely have turned without those 20 guys.

Hmmm...please remind me - who is it that we have been fighting in Iraq since Saddam's ouster?

--Exactly, they rarely were Saddam supporters....... they weren't there prior to our invasion... Saddam was no friend of them and was killing them if they appeared.... The Islamic radicals ( who were trying to overthrow him and had taken over Iran ) were most of the guys he was killing. Saddam was a mean person but he was doing nothing to us, and actually opposed the Iran government as are we. We were even was suppling him weapons (because of Iran) until he made the dumb decision to invade Kuwaitt (obviously he thought we would do nothing since we seem to support him against Iran).

Saddam was doing what we now have to do. ... Are the average people any better off?? doubt it... Most of the schools and utilities we have rebuilt were actually working prior to our invasion and has cost us Billions in tax money and killed and injured 1000's of Americans.. I don't see how wanting to save money and lives is not being conservative. He was not going to do anything to us.... Iran, which contains Islamic crazies, might... and Saddam opposed them. .

Ever heard the phrase "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".??..... Invading Iraq was very stupid. the USSR was not our buddy either prior to 1940 but we did not invade them and both of us fought against Nazi Germany.

Terror.

(I needed to tweak your question before it could be answered.)

Somewhere JWP is breathing a sigh of relief that he lives in a country where every political blunder quickly dissolves into another discussion of Bush and his war........

Your argument is based entirely on why we should not have fought Saddam (and runs counter to your initial point to which I was responding, by the way). Defeating Saddam was relatively easy, we won that war. Now we are fighting those who were clearly linked to 9-11. Was Saddam actively engaging Al Qaeda? No. But now we are, and having a decent measure of success.

Agree or disagree, but the following sentiment is becoming more and more common:

It is far from clear that Iraq will be judged a strategic blunder at all, let alone the “greatest strategic blunder in the recent history of American foreign policy.” It is now plausible to argue that the Iraq war will lead to a defeat of historic proportions for al Qaeda. It has already triggered a massive Sunni Muslim uprising against al Qaeda, a repudiation of violent jihadism from some of its original architects, and a significant shift within the Muslim world against the brutal tactics of jihadists.

Incorrect. All of these nations sent some type of combat troops.

Coalition peak troop levels

UK - over 45,000

Poland - 2,500

Italy - 3,200

Spain - 1,300

Netherlands - 1,345

Georgia- 2,000

Romania - 730

Bulgaria - 485

Albania - 120

Czech Republic - 300

Denmark - 545

Ukraine - 1,650

Iceland - 2

Not to mention the non-European troops:

Australia - 2,000

South Korea - 3,600

Japan - 600

El Salvador - 380

Nicaragua - 230

Dominican Republic - 300

And about a couple dozen other nations that sent military forces of around 100-200.

I certainly respect your opinion and opposition to the war, though I disagree with it. But let your opposition stand on the facts, and not revisionist history.

Well... nothing except shooting at our planes on a weekly basis, funding PLO and Hamas terrorists, attempting to assassinate a former U.S. President, violating UN sanctions, thumbing his nose at UN weapons inspectors, and attempting to establish a working relationship with al-Qaeda (don't forget that often overlooked tidbit of the 9/11 Report).

It's easy to be a Monday Morning Quarterback.

You know, just saying, the same (almost) exact thing can be said about Ronald Reagan. Sure is easy to be a arm chair QB.
