Notwithstanding the fact that this horse is all but dead, I have to chime in on the subject, having recently had the opportunity to spend time on the metroplex's labyrinth of highways. North Texas could use billboards to develop brand recognition. We finally got a decent logo. It should be seen all over the place, always. I don't think they should even put 'North Texas' on it. Just have it everyhwere and let people wonder what the heck it is until they can't stand it anymore and go find out. People will rally around a simple and inspiring symbol if reinforced enough. Particularly this reinforcement should occur in Frisco and McKinney and other booming places in the northern regions. What else do ALL those people have to identify with?

Overpriced housing and food?

Hell, they even got booze out there now. LOL!! I remember when people in those areas had to drive down to Walnut Hill or over to Lake Dallas just to grab a brew. Damn, I must be getting old. :(
