It isn't really "selling out" when your BUSINESS is in the city of the school you are supporting. It's called MARKETING and it's the same thing everyone on this board calls for local Denton and Dallas businesses to do with UNT- invest in the school in your backyard.

Ya, I'm sure all the Rice-graduated Denton business owners are flocking to put full page ads in the DRC to help UNT sellout Fouts against FIU. :rolleyes:

Seriously, this is one area that Athletics marketing has always needed improvement. We never seem to break out of Denton county much to get alum business owner support. Most radio ads I hear are from local Denton businesses, which is fine if Denton is secluded out by itself like Lubbock. DFW must have some business owners who support UNT Athletics?
