Being this poll identifies the voters, I am not sure a bunch of obviously NT voters is going to make much of an impression. It denotes fan interest but also can make other conference responders look kind of desperate. A move to CUSA would be good for NT because of geography and better known rivals, but I don't think it is a big leap in competition. A bunch of responses to this poll only feeds CUSA egos who think or hope that their conference is far superior.

Good point but I always use a non UNT alias on other boards.

Interesting that 7 Sun Belt conference teams are listed to choose from.

I think the Sun Belt Conference should be expanding, by adding members of

CDOA, er, sorry, CUSA.

You don't have to vote. Just click on "show (or view) results". When I looked, three (including North Texas) had six votes each and La Tech had five. I believe that WKU and Middle were the other two with six votes.

I have to question why most of the teams are Sunbelt with a few MAC thrown in the mix. I dont see Miami Ohio or Akron making this a career movie. The Sunbelt teams should stay unless they feel the need to change the teams they play. CUSA have at Western KY.

I still think the likely result down the road barring a big surprise is a basically east/west realignment of CUSA and Sun Belt into a tighter geographic footprints.
