Quinn, similarly built at 6-0, 197, has proved to be one of those tough football players from North Texas.

“Quinn has kind of surprised me quite honestly,” said Robinson. “He’s a real hungry young guy that is physically strong. Doesn’t get pushed around and holds his own, maybe a little more so than I would have thought. I didn’t know anything about him when he got here so it was strictly starting from scratch.”

I join every Mean green Nation fan that I know with the wish of nothing but the best for Johnny Q. Great kid with great abilities, and a work ethic that is second to none. All he needs is a "real" opportunity to showcase what he can do, and he'll make an impact in the leagure for many years...same "stuff" was said about W. Welker and now they are comparing draftees to Wes Welker!!!! "They" said that Dat wastoo small to play linebacker in the NFL...and didn't they say that same thing about that "other" kid (like W. Welker) from Texas tech who is now a new Cowboys LB after many solid and pro bowl years in Miami?????

It isn't always about size...it's about "want to" and ability so ver often. JQ has both the ability and the "want to"! GO JQ!

Great find... Just wait till some REAL game situations. Hopefully those QB's vying for a job will find JQ during pre-season games. Just get the ball in the area and JQ will go get it. I'd bet Vegas that he will be playing somewhere next year. Maybe the Pack maybe somewhere else, but he WILL get on someones roster.

I hope JQ gets a chance...I would love nothing more too see him on sundays. He is truly one of those kids that went 100% all of the time. Met his dad on a flight to El paso for one of the UNM games, nice guy, see where JQ gets it from. We were truly blessed to have him come to UNT. I always felt, if the ball was in his vicinity then he was was going to go up and fight for it and come down with. I loved watching that kid!

For what it's worth...JQ has gotten pretty close to Rodgers. They go play Halo together all the time. I think that this friendship really helps his chances a lot. For some reason Halo seems to unite people.
